Async standups that respect time zones.
A 15-minute synchronous standup wastes 14 minutes of every attendee's day. A 3-minute Screendog recording — auto-transcribed, skimmable, and timestamped — wastes none.
The format that works
Open the demo. Talk through (a) what you shipped, (b) what you are blocking on, (c) what you are picking up next. Screendog captures the screen and the audio. Transcription happens automatically.
Why transcription matters here
Teammates in different timezones can skim a transcript in 30 seconds. Watching a 5-minute video is a tax. Skimming the transcript and only watching the parts that matter to them is the right primitive.
No manager dashboard, on purpose
Screendog does not ship a "manager view" of who recorded their standup today. If you need that, you have a culture problem, not a tooling problem.
Frequently asked
Where do my team's standup recordings live?
In your shared workspace. Anyone with the workspace URL sees the dashboard. There is currently no per-user account inside a workspace — anyone with the URL has full access. Treat the workspace URL as a credential.
Can I post the recording into Slack automatically?
Yes — Slack is one of the five supported filers. Set the channel once in settings and shipping a recording posts a message with the link, transcript summary, and key beats.
